We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any data about you. There is no server to send it to.
01 Organization Information
This application is published by an organization (company) Google Play developer account.
02 Data Collection
Kerfly collects no data whatsoever. We do not collect personal information, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, location, contacts, usage analytics, crash telemetry, or diagnostic data. There is no registration, no sign-in, and no profile.
The content you create in the app — projects, cut lists, lumber and offcut records, bench sessions, finish recipes and settings — is written only to storage on your own device.
03 Data Usage
All processing happens on-device. Board-foot calculations, the stock matcher, search and filtering, charts, streaks and achievements are computed locally from the records you entered. Nothing is uploaded, and no processing is performed on any remote server.
04 Data Sharing
We share nothing, because we hold nothing. No data is sold, rented, disclosed to third parties, or transferred to advertisers, data brokers, or affiliates.
If you choose to use the export or backup feature, the resulting JSON or CSV file is created on your device and handed to the Android share sheet. You alone choose the destination — an email, a messaging app, a file manager, or your own storage. Kerfly never uploads it anywhere.
05 Data Security
Your records are stored locally using Hive, an on-device database. Finish recipes are stored in
an AES-encrypted Hive box. Application settings and the database encryption key are
held in Android's hardware-backed secure storage via flutter_secure_storage.
Because no data leaves the device, there is no transmission to intercept and no cloud database to breach. Device-level security — your screen lock, device encryption and OS updates — protects the stored data.
06 Data Retention
Your data is retained on your device until you remove it. You may delete individual records at any time, or erase everything at once via Settings → Clear all data. Uninstalling Kerfly removes all of its stored data from the device. We retain nothing after deletion because we never held a copy.
07 No User Accounts
Kerfly has no account system, no login, no password, and no cloud profile. You cannot create an account, and we cannot identify you.
08 Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Kerfly does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app collects no data at all from any user of any age, it is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. The app is not directed at children and is not enrolled in Google Play's Designed for Families programme.
09 Your Rights
You retain complete control of your data at all times:
- Access & portability — export everything as JSON or CSV from Settings.
- Rectification — edit or correct any record directly in the app.
- Erasure — delete individual records, use Settings → Clear all data, or uninstall the app.
- Objection & restriction — not applicable: no processing of personal data takes place.
No request to us is required to exercise any of these rights; they are all available directly in the app.
10 No Third-Party Services
Kerfly integrates no third-party SDKs. Specifically, it contains no analytics (such as Firebase Analytics or Google Analytics), no advertising networks, no crash-reporting services, no social media SDKs, no attribution or tracking libraries, and no cloud or backend services.
11 Permissions
Kerfly requests exactly one Android permission:
This permission is used solely so that the in-app Settings → Privacy policy screen can display this page in a WebView. No application data is transmitted over that connection, and every other feature of the app functions with no network connection at all.
Kerfly does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, notification, or any other permission.
12 Google Play Data Safety
Our Google Play Data Safety declaration states: no data collected and no data shared. No data types are gathered, so no data is encrypted in transit (none is transmitted), and no deletion request mechanism is required (you delete data yourself, on-device). This declaration is accurate and complete.
13 Policy Dates
If this policy changes materially, we will update the dates above and publish the revised policy at this address. Because the app collects no data, material changes are unlikely.

15 Legal Compliance
Kerfly is designed to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and Google Play's Developer Programme Policies, including the User Data and Data Safety policies.
Under GDPR, no personal data is processed, so there is no controller-processor relationship, no lawful-basis determination, and no international transfer. Under the CCPA, no personal information is collected, sold, or shared, and there is therefore no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism to provide.
